[Insert Swear Word Here] (7.10.06)

All right....here goes....so about twenty minutes ago, I was freaking out. But now, for the most part, I am calm. Here is my night in a nutshell.
I went to Troy's house, we were going to play a board game. Good innocent fun. Then we decided to go pick up a movie. But wouldn't you know it, Troy locks himself out of the house. (In the house is my keys to my car, so my car is not with me) While Troy was trying to call people to see what he should do, Christa and I were doing Girls' State cheers in Troy's front yard. Yeah, we were pretty much the coolest people on the block. At that point, anyways.

So we finally accept the fact that we are not getting into Troy's house, and a friend of Christa's has an apartment. We decided to go there for a bit, and just chillax. We were there for seriously TEN minutes, and the cops showed up. They are knocking on the door, and the two guys (yes, two. that was the extent of the party) yell at us to get down. So me, Christa, and Jon are laying on the floor. I am freaking out like no other. I just turned 18, and that means I can legally get arrested. I didn't drink, I didn't do anything, but I also didn't open the door.

Two hours go by. I'll spare you the details of this one, but just know that I freaked out beyond belief for quite some time, and acted much less than my age. (I would love to publicly apologize to both Christa and Jon for this one) I had to call my mom and lie to her about where I was, just to get us more time, because I was on curfew. The craziest part? One of them kept drinking as the cops were sitting outside! A little after 2, we tell them that we have to leave NOW, and then we had to explain that without a warrent, the two of them would be fine. And then we walked out the door ready for anything.

And didn't get stopped, thank God. Christa dropped me off at my house, and went to explain to her parents what happened. Strangely enough, my dad just laughed and said he was glad I was okay, and I'm not in trouble. My mom, on the other hand, she's a little miffed. As we left though, Jon told me that I was officially one of the cool people now, because I was at a busted party. Woo hoo.
